CEDIVET - Laboratório Clínico Veterinário em Leça do Balio

Laboratory cooperates with different vet clinics and hospitals around Porto region, but not taking any responsibility to check if the vets who are requesting exams are professional and officiant enough to read and present interpretation of the analysis. I was requesting check up of toxoplasma gondii from Clínica Veterinário Pinheiro Manso (Recarei) for my dog and achieved only part of the exam only with immunoglobulin M, clinic “doctor” was not able to make any conclusion about health of my dog and blamed me and laboratory instead. For that I payed 45€. I called to the laboratory to find out what is going on with all of this, laboratory “professional” said that probably clinic ordered only IgM indication and they don’t have to give me any information because the client is veterinary hospital not me and if I am not delighted with the service of this veterinary I can go and spend money for another one (such a cuties). Funny thing that in the paper it was mentioned my name as an owner of the dog, so in a fact I have the right to know all the details. The name of the dog was mentioned with mistakes and when I complained that “professional” from the laboratory answered me that she don’t care about the name of my dog and it doesn’t matter :)) She also told “it is normal, everywhere of the world is the same”. Sorry guys to disappoint you, but probably such a disrespect and offend possible only in Portugal exclusively and in exclusive places like this. It is a pity, when people taking money and having no responsibility for the result and quality of their service and job. If I could put here zero, probably I would. I lost money, time, nerves, got offended and I have to pay in addition to go to another wet and do new exams. Nice, very nice, guys.
